VOLUNTEERS IN PREVENTION AND
PROBATION (VIP) MENTORING PROGRAM

Volunteers in Prevention and Probation (VIP) mentoring program was designed to curb relapse into criminal behavior, encouraging probationers to follow conditions of their probation and to become law abiding members of our community.  After volunteers complete training provided by the court, they are assigned as mentors for individuals placed on probation.

Judge Osterud says, “This is a chance for members of our community to share their life experience and help direct another person towards a productive life.”  Those interested in serving should contact Douglas C. Spencer, Chief Bailiff of the Perrysburg Municipal Court, for an application.  Call Mr. Spencer at (419) 872-7927 or download the application.
