Perrysburg, Ohio – November 21, 2003 – Thomas L. Lafarree spoke to Perrysburg Municipal Court Law and Government Explorer Post 2306 about his experiences as a secret service agent at their last meeting held on November 20, 2003. Mr. Lafarree recently retired from the United States Secret Service. Judge Osterud presented a plaque of appreciation to Lafarree for his service as a member of the court’s security advisory committee and his contributions to our country.

The Explorers received case materials for the district mock trial competition to be held on February 20, 2004, at Toledo Municipal Court as part of the annual Ohio Center for Law Related Education Mock Trial. The group will also be touring the Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation Lab next week.

Exploring is part of Learning for Life’s career education program.
