ROLLAND "CHUBS" BECHSTEIN RETIRES
FROM PERRYSBURG MUNICIPAL COURT

Perrysburg, Ohio – October 31, 2001 – Rolland W. Bechstein, affectionately known as “Chubs”, retired from his post as deputy bailiff at the Perrysburg Municipal Court on October 31, 2001.  The court has employed Bechstein since March 21, 1991, initially as a transportation officer and the last two years as a security officer.

Bechstein was a deputy sheriff for the Wood County Sheriff Department until December 1990, where he remains an active member of the sheriff’s auxiliary force.  Prior to that he worked at Nazareth Hall Military School as a security guard.

Retirement plans include travel to warmer regions with his high school sweetheart.  Bechstein will maintain his home in Bowling Green.

A reception was held at the Perrysburg Municipal Court today where friends dropped by to wish him well.
