PERRYSBURG COURT JUDGE DWIGHT OSTERUD APPOINTS MAGISTRATE
Perrysburg, Ohio – June 1, 2005 – Judge S. Dwight Osterud announces that he has appointed Attorney James F. Schaller, II to serve as a part-time magistrate in Perrysburg Municipal Court.
Schaller is a graduate of Perrysburg High School, Bowling Green State University, and the University of Toledo College of Law, and practices law with the Toledo firm of Shindler, Neff, Holmes, Schlageter & Mohler, L.L.P. Additionally, he serves on the executive committee of the Morrison R. Waite Chapter of the American Inns of Court, is a legal advisor to the St. Ursula Academy Mock Trial Team, and a member of the Wood County, Toledo, Ohio, and American Bar Associations. Schaller served in the United States Army Reserve and Ohio National Guard, and is the adjutant of American Legion Post No. 28 in Perrysburg.
“I realized it was time to have back up help,” said Judge Osterud. “Because we have such a high case load, it is important that cases move efficiently in court. James is able to help us with that effort. We are all looking forward to working with James,” said Judge Osterud.
James and his wife, Janelle, also an attorney, reside in Perrysburg.
