Linda Heilman to Retire from Perrysburg Municipal Court

Perrysburg, Ohio – May 22, 2002 – Linda Heilman will retire her position as deputy clerk for Perrysburg Municipal Court on May 31, 2002.  Linda has served the community in this position since 1984.

Judge S. Dwight Osterud said, “I am fortunate to have worked with Linda; she taught me a lot.  I can always count on her for top performance.  I am happy for her as she leaves for retirement, because this is something she has looked forward to, spending more time with her family, especially her grandchildren.”  Court Administrator Janice I. Elkes offered more praise saying, "Linda's dependability and knowledge, helpfulness to the public, and not to mention her great sense of humor will truly be missed.  Her loyalty to her family and friends, and fellow workers is evident of her warm personality."

Linda and her husband Jim are the parents of one daughter, Laura in Columbus, and two sons, Mike in North Carolina and Greg in Chicago.  They have five grandchildren.  She is the daughter of Lillian Ellenberger.

Judge Osterud is hosting a luncheon at Carranor for the court staff and Linda’s family.  Her family has plans to celebrate Linda’s retirement with a trip to Hilton Head in June.

The court has not yet named a replacement.  There are an astonishing 681 applicants for the position.
